- FINALS ENTRIES MUST BE LEFT AT THE FINAL RODEO OR
POSTMARKED BY MONDAY, MARCH 8th. THERE WILL BE NO CALL-INS!!
- When you are completing your entry form, pay special attention to a
few things:
- Double check to make sure you have entered the correct
events.
- List your partner’s names in the ribbon roping and team roping.
The partner you enter with at the Region Finals will be the partner you will be entered with if you qualify for the State Finals.
- Wrangler roping contestants – be sure you mark your point
event and your jackpot event. The event you enter as your point event at the Region Finals will be the event you are declaring as your point event for the State Finals.
- Sign-up for both Wrangler and High School state rodeos will begin
after the results are official for each event. You must sign-out your finals packet if you are a qualifying contestant. The entry forms, stall and hookup requirements and payment MUST be received by the secretary by 1 hour after the last event is run on Saturday night. IF YOU HAVE NOT ENTERED ON SATURDAY NIGHT, YOU WILL GIVE UP YOUR SPOT AND THE NEXT CONTESTANT IN LINE WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE EVENT. Replacement of contestants not entered will begin on Sunday morning before the awards ceremony. You will be contacted by the secretary if you are eligible to enter. Entry and payment must be made immediately or the next person in line will be offered the opportunity to enter.
- HIGH SCHOOL CONTESTANTS - Items for the auctions on Saturday
are MANDATORY for you to participate in the Finals. You must bring your item to the auction office on the south east corner under the bleachers and have your name checked off before the rodeo begins on Saturday.
- Are you tough enough to wear pink?? Remember to wear pink Friday
night in support of Breast Cancer Awareness!
- If either parent is interested in being a member of the Region IV Board
of Directors for the 2010 – 11 rodeo season, please come to the secretary’s office to sign up during the finals weekend,
- If you are interested in being a Region IV student officer for the 2010
– 11 rodeo season, please turn your form in to the secretary’s office during the finals weekend. We will be holding elections at the first regular season rodeo in September.
- If you are interested in being a Region IV student event director for
the 2010 - 11 rodeo season, please turn your form in to the secretary’ s office during the finals weekend. Remember you will be required to be in the arena during your event during each rodeo.
